Miss Jessie’s the new arrivals

Posted on: July 4, 2008

So Miss Jessie’s has two new hair products that they have added to their line. I have already seen other blogs posting about it, as far as I know though none have tried it yet.

The first one is a Stretch Silkening Cream, no it is not a perm 🙂

 stretch silkening cream

Miko’s favorite. Introducing Stretch Silkening Crème, an amazing addition to our ever expanding curl crème empire. “How’s it different from the rest?” I’ll tell you. Stretch Silkening Crème is a quicker to dry whipped soufflé that delivers an amazing plump curl and a brilliant shine. Fabulous for fingerstyling. The lightest of the curl crème bunch. P.S. This is not Miko’s chemical Silkener technique.
Instructions for use:
Apply product while hair is soaking wet for full coverage based on your length and density. Do not rinse out. Air dry or dry under an overhead dryer. For maximum stretch silkening: After curls are fully dried grab a section and stretch downward for tension. Using a blowdryer with a nozzle attachment blast heat from root to midshaft. This will further stretch those kinks to curls. Enjoy!

The cream is available in the full 8oz size for $22 or the 2oz sample size for $7, all costs are plus shipping. If you live in Canada I would suggest you check out as they carry the line and the shipping is way, way cheaper. Trust me. I saved like $50 on shipping, yeah 50.

The second new product is Quick Curls.

Quick Curls weightless spiraling crème was formulated as a fast acting no fuss light weight styler that gives you the results you want fast. This fresh scented conditioning formula exclusively blended with essence of ginger flower and lime fruit activates a quick, light weight, frizz free smooth curl. Excellent for fingerstyling relaxed hair; no rods necessary, a rescue remedy for botched overprocessed texturizers, and great for our beautiful white gals.
Instructions for use:
Apply to damp hair based on length and density. Air dry or diffuse dry. Enjoy!

Quick Curls is only available in the 20z size and retails for $9 plus shipping. Do they work Im not sure, but I will definatly be checking out reviews on the products. I find that as for most companies the reviews are mixed some love the stuff and some get horrible reactions or it just does nothing for their hair.I think that most people prefer the curly buttercreme.
